High jewelry collections have been a way for jewelry brands to showcase their craftsmanship, creativity, and use of precious materials such as diamonds, gold, and precious stones.
These collections often feature one-of-a-kind pieces that are designed to appeal to high-end customers and collectors, and they can help establish a brand’s reputation for luxury and exclusivity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Additionally, high jewelry collections are also a source of significant revenue for jewelry brands.
From Chanel to Bvlgari to Tiffany and Co. and so on, there is no limit to the number of jewelry brands that are launching their own High Jewelry Collections.
According to the story that inspired this collection, a pair of vivid Boucheron aquamarine and diamond clips were presented to Queen Elizabeth II of blessed memory when she turned 18-years-old in 1944.
The Boucheron-made jewelry became a prized and essential element of Her Majesty’s jewelry collection.
Forward 80 years later, and the clips have inspired an entirely new high jewelry collection launched by the French label.
The collection houses 18 high-in-demand piece sets and they each capture the distinct character of the two cerulean clips and reveal its genuine creative brilliance.
The Like a Queen High jewelry collection, which is made up of bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces, and, of course, brooches, is divided into seven distinct series and color stories which includes;
Each of these pieces were all inspired by Her Majesty’s 18th birthday clip gift and the shape of this clip was maintained in all the pieces which are made with sapphires, emeralds, rubies, tourmalines, and pearls, and are all flecked with diamonds and white gold.
Let’s take a look at these unique masterpieces.
The Frosty White Necklace
There are six possible looks for this white gold, diamond, and rock crystal necklace. Two iconic Art Deco designs that can be separated from the piece and worn as a single or double brooch are added to it. The four brilliant strands that make up the draped lower section of the necklace are also on their own. It may also transform into a cape clasp or jacket decoration.
The Moon White Akoya Pearl Necklace
This interchangeable jewelry set contrasts the strong dazzle of diamonds with the delicate iridescence of Akoya pearls to combine daintiness and strength.
The three-strand necklace has a removable diamond-paved Art Deco clasp which can be used as a decoration for hair or as an ornamental pin.
It also comes with a pair of earrings designed with lower sections that can be taken off and worn on different parts of the ear. Each lower section is embellished with an Akoya pearl.
The Rolling Red Necklace
This ruby and diamond necklace, which has a focal pendant that can be removed and turned into a brooch. It comes packaged with a pair of earrings and a ring as well. The royal gem motif is extended and given a new dimension in this version, displaying a wholly contemporary viewpoint.
The Lemon Slice Collier Choker Necklace
This small elegant design with lemon colored strap is made with white diamonds and white gold, and it can be worn as a brooch or as a barrette.
The diamond pattern can also be clipped in several ways to be worn as a choker or bracelet thanks to leather ribbons
The Mega Pink Twin Brooches
The deep pink of Mega Pink’s tourmalines is what makes this set so unique. The two brooches can either be worn together or as separate pieces.
The Hypnotic Blue Cuff Bracelet and Ring
The blue lacquer in this design gives both the cuff and ring a more modern and classy appearance. Made of a 6 carat Ceylon sapphire, the ring is crafted to fit a full finger.
The Green Garden Ring
Crafted in platinum, this ring is set with a 6.25-carat cushion-cut Zambian emerald and enhanced by a thin green lacquer line.
It can be worn both ways: with and without the diamond encircling it.
The Green Garden ring is accompanied by a matching set of earrings that include two emeralds that can be taken out so that the ring can be worn by itself as desired.
The Like a Queen collection is a demonstration of Boucheron’s classic style which pays tribute to Her Majesty’s exquisite taste for fine jewelries.
Every item in this collection is a tasteful work of art befitting of the royalty.
As Queen Elizabeth II was gifted with this beautiful piece, you too can also gift it to yourself or a loved one.
