The Bvlgari Serpenti collection’s history dates back to the 1940s, when the already fashionable company debuted a brand-new line that radiated sophistication and originality: The first watch; the Serpenti Tubogas, in the Serpenti line had the appearance of a snake coiling around the wearer’s wrist. Nevertheless, it appeared lovely and distinctive rather than menacing.

The snake is the source of the Serpenti, a mythological monster that has long caught the attention of people in all parts of the world. Because of their propensity to shed their skin, serpents were thought to have transformational and regenerative abilities in Greek and Roman mythology.

The ouroboros, a snake biting its own tail to create a completely endless circle, much like Bvlgari Serpenti, was used to symbolize the eternal cycle of perpetual renewal.
