For the Chanel Fall/Winter 2023/24 ready-to-wear show which took place at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, guests were split between two circular stadiums that was completely dark except for the center stage where the models catwalk round a giant sculptured white camellia centerpiece covered with cinematic photographs of actress and House ambassador Nana Komatsu.
Virginie Viard, Chanel’s creative director, chose a Camellia theme for this year’s Fall collection. Aside from the massive camellia centerpiece that welcomed guests into the camellia-themed show, fresh camellias were also placed on each guest’s seat, and items from Chanel’s No. 1 Clean Beauty Line, which includes camellia as a main ingredient, was placed in takeaway gift bags for guests.
The camellia flower has long been an unbreakable CHANEL aesthetic, appearing in many of the French label’s collections dating back to 1924.
And for this year’s collection, the fluffy flower appeared in every form imaginable on all the 66 looks presented by Viard

It was designed in 3D forms on a black sweatshirt, also appeared on shiny track pants, black leather trench coats, quilted satin jackets, lace cycling shorts and lurex sweaters.

The collection keeps with an asymmetrical silhouette in motion giving a masculine-feminine vibe, and the floral accents on each of the outfits gives a cheerful, romantic, delicate and gentle feel to the whole collection.
