The always breathtaking Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, which took place from January 23–26, officially began, as expected, in a grand and glorious style. This year’s show appeared to be bigger and better than ever, and celebrities from around the world flocked to the French capital to experience it all firsthand.
The schedule included shows by brands like Dior, Chanel, Valentino, and Balenciaga in addition to Giambattista Valli who made his long-awaited Couture Week return.

The dresses were exquisite, the makeup increasingly avant-garde, and of course the craftsmanship was at its pinnacle. But, as always, the view is incomparably better from the front row, and we were thrilled to see that so many of our favorite fashion icons once again populated it.
From Sita Abellan’s puffy bodysuit to Kylie Jenner’s daring lion-inspired ensemble, the stars wore some of their most extravagant outfits to date. There was no end to the number of daring looks at the event, but the most daring of all, was Doja Cat’s red ensemble look.
Doja Cat Stuns Guests In 30,000 Swarovski Crystals
Doja Cat wowed guests as she arrived at Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2023 show for Paris Fashion Week on Monday, January 23 in a stunning head-to-toe ensemble embellished with red body paint and 30,000 Swarovski crystals, along with a red silk faille bustier, a hand-knit skirt made of lacquered wooden beads, and trompe l’oeil toe boots.
The striking outfit, which was specially created by the fashion house’s creative director Daniel Roseberry, was brought to life by makeup artist Pat McGrath and her team, who worked on it for nearly five hours, applying by hand the 30,000 Swarovski crystals to the rapper’s red painted body.
Doja’s appearance embodied the Schiaparelli show’s theme and the brand’s most recent Inferno Couture collection, a collection which according to Roseberry was motivated by the poem “Dante’s inferno”
