With a loud performance by LuluVan Trapp, which featured vocalist Rebecca Baby and her band singing the theme for the Fall collection -“Desire and Disorder” over and over again, Isabel Marant transformed the runway at Palais Royale into a party which left the attendees not wanting to readily leave.
The collection, which was inspired by the ‘Desire and Disorder’ theme, was a departure from the brand’s print-heavy bohemian trend to a more sophisticated and refined look.
According to Isabel Marant, the ‘Desire’ in the collection’s theme pays homage to the brand’s long-standing commitment to female empowerment and the pieces in the collection were designed to allow women to express themselves in all ways including showing off their physique.
The “Disorder” in the theme of the collection was represented by the accidental poppers on a fuzzy little sweater dress, and the graphic slashes that appeared throughout the entire collection.
The Fall/Winter 2023 collection features a variety of fashionable and wearable ensembles donned by models of various generations and that was a reminder that when it comes to wearing Isabel Marant, fashion is not only about looking good, but also about feeling good.
