Kate Spade NY brought a sense of youthful vibrancy and fun to her Fall/Winter 2023 collection at the recently concluded New York Fashion Week held at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Since its inception, Kate Spade New York has been deeply rooted in culture and arts, and for their New York’s Fall 2023 collection, the fashion brand presented another artistic representation of how they see the seasons, but with an all too familiar Kate Spade twist.
In contrast to earlier seasons that had everything from twee lemons to fanciful florals mashed together across all product categories, the 14 outfits which were created by Tom Mora and Jennifer Lyu of SVP for Kate Spade 2023 Fall collection were instead presented in a saturated monochrome.

The duo created the collection, putting an emphasis on the joy that comes from dressing in a way that feels both fresh and exciting while utilizing bold hues, geometric patterns, and authentic design craftsmanship.Â
The Kate Spade 2023 Fall Collection featured midi dresses, flowy skirts, and t-shirts embellished with graphics and abstract patterns.

There were also satin suits and faux fur created in mint (which is the Kate Spade brand color), vivid red, hot pink, and bright lemon colors.
Kate Spade Partners with Pantone to Create Kate Spade Green
For their 30th anniversary this year, Kate Spade NY partnered with Pantone to create their now official brand color, which is a shade of green that the fashion brand has now dubbed as the “Kate Spade Green,” a shade that is somewhere between Kelly green and shamrock green.
Outfits in the “Kate Spade Green” were prominent in the Kate Spade NY 2023 Fall/Winter collection at the New York Fashion Week.
Kate Spade NY Branded Cabs Convey Guest to NYFW Venue
A fleet of New York City cabs were all wrapped in the brand’s Pantone hue – “Kate Spade Green,” and were driven around Manhattan during the New York Fashion Week which lasted for four days from February 10 to 16. These fully branded cabs were used to welcome guests to the event’s venue.
Visitors were directed to the presentation area on the third level of the Whitney Museum of American Art where the new collection was on exhibition against the picturesque backdrop of the Hudson River. The ambience of the event venue was ramped up with music performed by musicians from The Juilliard School producing a unique soundtrack that embodied the event’s narrative.
The Kate Spade New York fashion show had in attendance a number of Hollywood celebrities who all donned luxury pieces from the brand. Here’s a look at what some notable celebrities wore to the event.

Emma Roberts put on pieces from the Kate Spade 2023 Fall collection which included a pair of black leandra heels, a black art dots jacquard skirt, and a black Sam Icon Leather Small Tote bag.

Quinta Brunson was also spotted at the NYFW event wearing a fake fur trim wool coat in black color, a dramatic zebra feather trim skirt in stone path, a black multicolored top handle crossbody and a white feather trim poplin shirt from the stables of Kate Spade NY.

The comedian and late-night talk show host was seen at the Kate Spade 2023 Fall collection exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art wearing a dark chartreuse plush faux fur jacket, a bejeweled chartreuse colored crepe shift dress, a pair of black merrit stiletto boots, a multicolored art plaid tweed beret, and an afterparty satin and crystal shoulder bag in chartreuse.

Hailey Lu Richardson was also present wearing chartreuse colored tonal leopard textured blazer and skirt, a leopard tie-neck skirt, a black sam icon crystal embellished small tote, and leopard maren pumps.
Kate Spade New York teamed up with well-known TikTok creators Charles Gross and Madeleine White to co-host a livestream that provided the digital community a behind-the-scenes access to the highly creative Kate Spade NY runway show at the New York Fashion Week. The livestream was available on the official website of Kate Spade New York as well as their social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
