The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2023 Collection on display at the Musee d’Orsay in Paris examines the mystique of French fashion and articulates the indescribable quality that has caught the attention of many.
It is the fusion of casualness and sophistication that results in a daring aesthetic that never goes out of style or fails to pique one’s interest. Nicolas Ghesquière establishes the Maison’s innovative version of contemporary French style by fusing Louis Vuitton’s legacy with inspiration from discussions with his international creative team.
Nicolas Ghesquière collaborated with Philippe Parreno, a well-known French artist, and Nicolas Becker, a sound designer, to install the décor, which was displayed in the salons of the Musee d’Orsay.
It involved putting lighting in carefully chosen locations along a runway that was completely dark. Models astonish the audience as they move down the runway’s seductive path, swaying and turning as they present the numerous items from the collection.
The presentation included specially created amplified and acoustic noises that caused the exhibition and its surroundings to merge into one.

The oversized trench coats come in designs of two diagonal side pockets and two frontal closure large buttons or two square pockets and two frontal closure large buttons. Both designs feature belts for fitting.
